Sender gets message that I (the receiver) cannot accept payments with Apple Pay at this time

Thanks for the post in Apple Support Communities. I saw your post about Apple Pay and I'll be glad to see how I can help.


Do you get any notification or prompt to accept the payment on your end, or does it not arrive at all on your end?


How do you have your Apple Pay set for receiving payments? You can check to see if you have it set up to automatically receive payments using the "How to choose whether to automatically accept payments" section of this link: Send, receive, and request money with Apple Pay


Also, there are some limits to receiving payment through Apple Pay as outlined in the article titled Apple Pay Cash and person to person payments limits:


"Sending or receiving limits

Per message, you can send or receive a minimum of $1.

Per message, you can send or receive up to $3,000.

Within a 7-day period, you can send or receive a maximum of $10,000.

You might also be limited by the available balance on your debit or prepaid card or limits from your bank or card issuer."


Do any of these apply to your situation?
