Ipad Question

Hi quick question. If I buy an iPad with the wifi only, do I have to unlock it to use in another country?

It is cellular that can be locked to a certain cellular data provider. You can't use a locked cellular device in any cellular network except the one it is locked to. You can use an unlocked cellular device in any cellular network as long as the device is compatible with the cellular network.


No such thing as locked WiFi. You do, however, need WiFi password when joining a protected WiFi network. That isn't the same as locked/unlocked device.
