Apple Pay Declined

My Apple Pay transactions with my Navy Federal Cash Rewards card keeps getting declined. I called Navy Federal and they said it’s because you all are sending the wrong expiration date. Can you all fix this?

Did you perhaps get a new card from Navy Federal and not add this new card to your Apple Pay wallet?

No and I’ve tried adding and removing the card multiple times. Navy Federal looked into it and said Apple Pay is sending the wrong expiration date on the guard despite me entering the correct one. Not sure how that’s possible and what the fix is.
