I received this text Saying “Your Apple ID is now ready to be recovered. Go to apple.com/recover and enter your Apple ID to get started. Need help? Go to apple.com/support”.
But I didn’t attemp to recover my Apple ID should I be worried or can I see who tryed to recover my info.
Are you sure it's from Apple? Sounds like a phishing attempt.
I had this same text message sent to me few minutes ago. I didn’t request to recover my Apple ID. I noticed you responded by saying it sounded like a scam however I did need to reset my Apple ID few months ago and I personally did that through the Apple site so I know it wasn’t a scam that time and the text that came in few min ago came on the same message feed as the one I requested before so that leads me to believe the request is legit. Is there a way to find out who did ge request and is there anything I should do on my part?
If your Apple ID is working, there is no need to recover it. You will get an error message when you try to log in somewhere, not a text message.
