Like I usually do on vacation, I plugged my new MacBook Pro into the TV HDMI and the view (on both MacBook and TV) is very strange. The menu bar is visible but very, very small and almost unreadable. Switched to aother HDMI made no difference. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I never did get an "Arrangements" tab but I selected "Scaled" for resolution (thereby deselecting fault) and then selected the "larger text" icon and that did it.

Deselect mirror desktop and use extended display mode.
