8plus iphone makes calls from lock screen while on a call

Since I upgraded to a 8+ My phone randomly calls other numbers when locked in the case while I am on another call. HOW does this happen and why? My phone is in a wallet case ,screen locked but yet it will dial random numbers in my contacts!

Take the iPhone out of the case and try it, if it doesn't happen then the case is interfering with the proximity sensor.
