Screen Time shows erased device - how do I remove?

I think this is a bug that I need to recheck when 12.2 comes out, but asking here anyway. It's been asked before (Oct 2018) with no resolution.

Remote screen time shows two devices for my daughter -- an XR and an iPhone 6. The 6 is default. It no longer exists, was removed from all accounts and erased. Doesn't show up in iCloud device list, iTunes device list or Apple Support Profile device list for my iCloud ID, her iCloud ID, or my iTunes ID (which is different from my iCloud ID and shared by her and I -- which might precipitate this bug).

My best guess is that the Apple database for screen time devices is not integrated with apple's other databases for device association and that there's no way to fix this.

Anyone know differently?
