I have an EPSON L386 Printer/Scanner, when trying to add the printer to my Mac I get a message saying "Software for this printer isn't available from Apple. Contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software." On the Epson website, there is no software available for the L386!!
This is suuuuuper frustrating - hope there is someone out there who will be able to help!

If it is not an AirPrint printer refer to Printer and scanner software available for download. The EcoTank L386 does not appear.

Correct. Your EcoTank L386 appears to have been abandoned by its manufacturer. Tossing it in the trash appears to be EPSON's approach to environmental responsibility.
