I would like to import title builds from Keynote into imovie without the background, is this possible? If not does the newest version of iMovie have better title options?

Place your green screen title above the video clip and select the title. Click on the overlay button (the one with overlapping squares) in the tool bar in the upper right of your screen. A selection box will appear to the left with the default "cutaway" in it. Click on it for the drop down menu. Select Green/Blue Screen. Click on the blue reset circle on the right hand side of the screen to apply the green screen setting.

I don't think so, but I'm not entirely sure. I haven't been able to figure out how to make a Keynote background transparent. You can create Keynote titles on a green background and import them into iMovie. You then can overlay them onto video clips using the green screen feature of iMovie.

You have been so helpful I really appreciate it. I have one more questions, when I added the green screen captions, at the end of some of my scenes before the transition the picture kind of flashes before it moves on to the next transition and thoughts on why this might be happening? Thank you again.

A white flash can indicate a corrupt frame or frames. Expand your timeline out with the slider next to the Settings button above the time line to the right. Scroll slowly through the troublesome area until you see the white flash. Then cut or trim it out. See if that solves it.
