Hi if I connect all my family Apple Music accounts what happens to all the downloaded and purchased music?

All the music from in each of the libraries of each of the members will stay there. The downloaded tracks will stay valid if the transition is seamless (no time gap).
The purchased music (from the iTunes Store, not Apple Music) is linked to each Apple ID account, and that is not influenced by the Apple Music subscription service. Family Sharing with purchase sharing makes purchases available to all members of the family group, but for subscribers to Apple Music, that makes little difference, as members already have access to the whole Apple Music catalog.
