Whenever I type in passwords the first character i can type in, but characters following that are deleted automatically. Been in to apple multiple times and they are unable to fix this. Please help!

Where are you typing the password? In terminal the typed letters are not echoed to the screen.
There are some online sites that use a programmed method to show you the character you just typed, but obscure all other characters other than the last one. It takes a substantial amount of programming to do this, and is quite deliberate. Since not all web sites do it this way, it will vary by site.
Thanks, but I am unsure this will help as the characters are "backspaced" automatically and don't register at all. They appear as • when typed but as soon as they appear they are deleted as if I pressed the delete button.
All websites unfortunately. I have been having to type then in the search bar of a separate window and copy paste them in. I am given an incorrect password error when i type the passwprd and the characters are "backspaced".

What website? After you type the characters that are not echoed are you then let into the site or do you get an incorrect password error?
