Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

sleep mode

whenever my mac goes to sleep i ned to turn it on with the on/off button .... rarely does it go on with the keyboard.

wondering if there is somewhere in settings where i can use only the keyboard to turn it on.

Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences > Energy Saver. If it's not already, maybe uncheck the box for "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" when it's on the power adapter. Not sure if that will mess with anything else to have setup, but here is a little more info on what it does if you need it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202824.

Besides the good help so far, that is also a symptom of an update/upgrade breaking a previously working 3rd party App.
