Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
whenever my mac goes to sleep i ned to turn it on with the on/off button .... rarely does it go on with the keyboard.
wondering if there is somewhere in settings where i can use only the keyboard to turn it on.

Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences > Energy Saver. If it's not already, maybe uncheck the box for "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" when it's on the power adapter. Besides the good help so far, that is also a symptom of an update/upgrade breaking a previously working 3rd party App.
