Podcasts keep reloading

This seems to come up every couple of years, but there doesn't seem to be a decent fix.

I have updated to the latest OS and updated all my apps, but podcasts I have already listened to and deleted are reloading. It's very frustrating. @Apple, please fix this issue.

podcast wanting to re-download Hello! I have a small but weird issue that's really grinding my gears. Occasionally when I open iTunes, podcasts that I have already downloaded will show the cloud symbol next to them and need to be downloaded again. Has anyone seen this behaviour before? It's not the end of the world except I backup my local iTunes library to a NAS and then point my Sonos at it so my backup is constantly removing the tracks and reading them once I have re-downloaded them. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions!

Podcast not downloading automatically Some of my podcast episodes have stopped downloading automatically after the most recent Podcast app update (May 2021). Podcast version1.1.0 (1563.1.7). I un-subscribed and re-subscribed to the problem podcast(s), but no luck. Podcasts will not download automatically. Some podcasts do download automatically but not all.
