turn off auto save photos imessage

I want to be able to turn off auto save photos in iMessage.

i take a bunch of photos in iMessage of useless things that I don’t want filling up my camera roll.

It’s super annoying that I can’t turn this off and I have to keep going to my photos every few days and deleting them all.

I also don’t understand why you would take away a feature in a new update.
