Before this last update you could rearrange the icons on the home screen or move them to folders by holding it down until it started to jiggle.
I can no longer do this, as when you hold it down the little menu to the icon now pops up... any suggestions on how I can arrange my icons manually?

As the XS Max has 3D Touch, it sounds like you're pressing on the app icon too hard, which is why the "little menu" keeps popping up. Just touch the icon lightly for a second. "You can adjust the sensitivity of 3D Touch on devices that support it. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch and use the slider to select a sensitivity level. On the same screen, you can turn 3D Touch off and on".
