Merged together iCloud-users by accident

I'm currently an intern at a design bureau, and I'm using an iMac where the previous intern were signed into her iCloud-user. I signed her out, and signed myself in. Something strange happened, so now I get some of her iCloud-stuff on my user, on all my devices. This includes her keychain and passwords, which I would say is a massive security breach.

I also got her bookmarks in Safari together with her reading list. There may be more, but in that case I just haven't noticed yet.

Is this a common issue? I haven't been able to figure out how to get her signed out entirely, there's no sign of her user other than the places I've mentioned. It's just incredibly bothering to get be able to sign in to her users on the web pages I also use. How do I get rid of all the traces of her iCloud?

Thanks!

If same Apple ID and password were signed in between two Mac and iCloud Keychain was set up and in case you imported keychain items , definitely the passwords will be saved in keychain access see this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/keychain-access/copy-keychains-to-another-mac-kyca1121/mac

And you want to delete the passwords from the Mac in question they can be deleted see this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/keychain-access/view-the-information-stored-in-a-keychain-kyca1085/mac

And right click over the keychain item and delete , but that you have to search them manually ( can use spotlight search of keychain access window ) .

Regarding , to remove traces of iCloud , you need to disconnect two Mac by just signing out from Apple ID from your friends initial Mac .

See this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/if-you-sign-out-of-icloud-on-mac-mh36825/10.14/mac/10.14

Then in your Mac sign with the desired new Apple ID and password in your Mac see this link https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-13681

Note : it depends upon you which Apple ID that is created with 2FA or secondary authentication , id ending with iCloud.com or ending with some mail services like gmail , yahoo ...etc is to be signed in the location system preferences > iCloud in your Mac , however establishing these ids having all together different methods .

Passwords can be exchanged using air drop also https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/iphone/share-website-and-app-passwords-iph0dd1796bb/12.0/ios/12.0

The iOS device can be removed and erased from Apple ID account https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT205064

But that's a mystery with setting up iCloud Keychain and signing in with same Apple ID and password on both Mac and iOS device how were the passwords were exchanged .

Erasing the hard drive and reinstalling is not an option as your Mac is working fine , the only way to remove passwords that are concerning in Mac is to delete from keychain access .

And to disconnect from Mac as suggested sign out from connected devices , if admin password and other passwords are exchanged that are confidential for every Mac user / iOS device user , you can change them .

Thanks, but none of these solve my issue.

The biggest issue is that I’ve got all of her passwords on all of my devices (Personal MacBook Pro and iPhone included despite the fact that she’s never been signed in to her iCloud on any of those), even though I signed off her iCloud before I signed in myself.

There’s no way for me to sign her out again since she doesn’t appear as signed in.
