Apple Support 403

After having to contact the Apple Support for the third time in the same day. I could not connect to the support page anymore, it would return 403. I though it could be a sincere error and left for the next morning. When I realized that switching off my WiFi connection and use 3g it loaded.

Apple le blocking my IP?? I’m pretty much sure of it. But take your conclusions!!

Apple is not going to block your IP address.

If your ISP got onto some larger Spamhause block list this is always possible— you can always ask your Internet Service provider to check your DNS/ IP numbers. https://www.spamhaus.org/

I would check that Apple server are not down—

I suspect the 403 error is a temporary error on Apple's side and you can try later.

Always advised to try a different browser as a local test, to verify the same results

This is a technical support forum specifically for Apple products. If you can connect to the site using cellular data, but you can not connect to the same site while on WiFi, then the problem is with your WiFi network or your ISP. Those are both out of scope for these forums.

Now... if you would like help figuring out whatever problem you were originally trying to reach Apple to solve, feel free to ask. So far, you have not asked a question about something that is in scope for these forums.

Error 403 on Safari and Mac OS X

  • Generally this is an identification error. This occurs when you try to access an option that requires an electronic certificate, and when the browser cannot detect one, it has been damaged or if it has not been selected correctly.
  • If the electronic certificate is a cryptographic card (e.g. DNIe), close the browser, reconnect the reader and reopen the browser to access the procedure.
  • If you are using an electronic DNI, follow the indications on the 'Connection error with electronic DNI with Mac OS X', available in our useful links at the end of this help point.
  • If you have a software-based certificate and are using Safari, you need to make sure that the electronic certificate is installed in Keychain Access. You can check the certificates installed under Keychain Access by going to 'Finder', 'Applications', 'Utilities'. Go to 'Start session', 'Certificates', and check whether your personal certificate appears in this store.

Whatever it is that is getting blocked it is only happening when I access the support page. I find it to be very ironic. And my suspicion goes this far based on the poor support that they offer very often not being able to solve my issues. A clear lack of prepare as each person says/do different things.

I’ve been blocked and unable to access the support page unless I switch to 3g. How and why apple does this? Have an answer?
