Is there any way to determine exactly which USB device may be pushing Mojave over the edge and causing me to get the 'USB Devices Disabled' warning on my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), please?

Thanks, rkaufmann87 - I was hoping for some sort of utility or app/software because I have a good two dozen devices all connected to independently and permanently powered high quality USB buses.
Since I seem to get the warning perhaps once every two days, I have my doubts about how long it would take to be sure that I have isolated a single device as you kindly suggest!

Sorry I am not aware of any such utilities and feel your pain. I'm sure you have Googled to find something and if that hunch is correct and you did not locate a utility then I think it's a manual process you are faced with.

FTR, the make that failed was Pluggable. I replaced it with a Satechi, with which I've had good experiences lately.
Maybe the old one had just reached its natural time to… overheat :-)
Starting a few months ago, I'd also had external drive spontaneously unmount themselves :-(

Yes, hubs (as you now see) go bad too. I have had my share go bad over the years too. To get the most longevity get the highest quality you can afford and try to future proof by ensuring it the latest generation.
Sure, eliminate each USB device one by one until you find the culprit. In short it's a trial and error process. Start with the devices that are BUS powered as they are most likely causing the issue.

Do you think that to compare the two lower panels of the USB System Report - before and after such alerts - would reveal the culprit, please, rkaufmann87?

Turned out to be a faulty USB hub, one channel of which was actually melting!
Bought a new one, plugged everything over - and it's been good ever since.
Your help still appreciated, though :-)
