Where do I find my iCloud security code?

I keep getting a message on both my iPhone and iPad that say: To continue using iCloud on this iPad (or iPhone), approve if from one of your other devices using iCloud or enter your iCloud Security code”

I don’t know what it is talking about please help in very simple directions. I am not as smart on technology now as I use to be.
