Apple ID popup message

I received a pop up message on my laptop saying "Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for Facetime on a new iPhone"

Does this mean my phone has been hacked. Just want to be sure.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.12

It may be a false message, but I would change my Apple ID password just to be safe.
