PREMIUM TECH/TECHIE SUPPORT: SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!!! IT"S A SCAM!!! was scammed out of $500 this weekend, almost $5,000. If you get a pop up stating you have a virus and apple support wants you to call a number - it’s a scam. They'll ask you to grant access to your desktop and keep you on the phone for 3-5 hours to distract you saying they’re installing their software. I've gotten the FBI involved who is already looking into these organized criminals. What a disgrace to their country and heritage! They are Indian - bad karma coming their way.

Please don’t fall victim to these people: Premium Tech/Techie Support and be cautious as they change they're name. Tech support companies will never ask you for financial or personal information.

Those popups are always 100% of the time a scam. Your warning has been repeated here in these communities thousands of times yet people still fall for the scam. In fact the reason these scams are so prevalent is that the scammers make billions of dollars every year from their victims. No one can tell remotely what you have running on your computer.
