What are keyboard commands for invisibles in Pages 7.3 for Mac?

What are keyboard commands for invisibles in Pages 7.3 for Mac? I discovered that \n will get me a paragraph return, but I would like to know what a soft paragraph return and tab are also (and any others out there). Where would one find a list or chart for this? The old version of Pages made this quite easy to do, but this new sexy, hide-everything version makes me what to pull my hair out! Everything seems to be much more tedious to do in this new version. (Finally having to wean off my 2013 MacBook Pro before it dies). Apple: Please stop making Master app users repeatedly go back to the starting line of the learning curve every time you update! If there seemed to be a good reasons for the sweeping changes, I wouldn't mind so much, but it seems that you make changes just because you are able to!

That is all of the short cuts.


If you have the Unicode input source selected in System Preferences : Keyboard : Input Sources, and have it shown in your menu extras bar in the Finder, then you can find Unicode characters in the body of a Pages document.


For example, there is a ⌘ character in a Pages document. I want to find it using the Find panel. I open the Find panel, and then switch my keyboard input to Unicode Hex Input. I then press the option key and press 2318, which is the Unicode value for that Place of Interest sign. Pages finds it, and I switch the keyboard back to (in my case) U.S. You can also use the character viewer to double-click Unicode characters into the Find panel.
