Snapchat Camera sounds won’t shut off

I have an iPhone 6 and even after hitting the mute switch on the side my Snapchat camera continues to make a shutter sound when I take a picture. I’ve tried going to settings for snapchat, and my camera but I can’t find anywhere to silence it. It even makes the noise when I have headphones in and everyone around me can hear it. How can I fix it
