Question

Zoom Window will not move to the Right-Hand outer edge of the Screen.

iPhone X - iOS 12.1.4

The Zoom Window will not move to the Right-Hand outer edge of the Screen.

Using my finger I am able to move & locate the Zoom Window anywhere on the screen with the exception of the extreme right hand side.

In previous versions, you 'bumped' the Zoom Window to the outer edge of the screen and the window would follow & move over - but not anymore...

I have tried toggling the Zoom Window off / on in Settings & indeed off - hard restart back on - iPhone complete shut down, restart Zoom Window off / on & then it will work once - immediately after but then never again...

I'd warmly welcome any thoughts, hints & tips etc..?

There are several ways to pan the zoom window. You can drag 3 fingers across the screen to move the content within the zoom window. You can also drag the zoom window from any edge of the lens chrome, not just little handle at the bottom. The Zoom Controller (enabled in Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom or via the Zoom Menu which is a 3 finger triple tap on the screen) can also move the zoom window anywhere on the screen. Are you able to use any of these methods to move the zoom window?

If not, could you give us some more details about what happens when you try to drag the window the right? Does it get stuck as in you're not able to move it away from the edge? Or does it hit an invisible "edge," that's not the edge of the screen, and therefore you can't move it to the physical edge of the screen? If you can post any screenshots that'd be helpful as well to help understand what is happening.

In answer to your questions above - the 3 finger method you kindly described to move the content within the zoom window worked perfectly - thank you ! ;-)

Re "...Or does hit an invisible edge" - The Zoom Window will move to the physical edge of the screen - but not to the edge of the displayed content... (and only on the right side - the left side & both the top / bottom of the screen work perfectly).
