Wi-Fi interface keeps de-activating itself, then it's impossible to reactivate until restart of Mac
Mac System : OS X El Capitan, 10.11.6
The WI-FI interface of my mac keep de-activating itself. Then it's impossible to reactivate until I restart my computer.
However, when I do, after 20 mins to three hours, it de-activate itself again.
It's very random but completely stops myself from working.
I've already tried different solutions found online :
- I tried to Renew the DNS Bail : nothing changed, still had to restart the mac
- I tried cycling the network by putting this in the terminal (tried it with en0 AND en1) :
networksetup -setairportpower en0 off
networksetup -setairportpower en0 on
- I tried this :
- Open the Terminal application (/Applications/Utilities).
- Enter the following text (easier to copy and paste): networksetup -setairportpower en0 off; networksetup -setairportpower en0 on
- This should cycle the power to your wireless card, and hopefully give it the push it needs to resume normal operation.
- I tried this:
- Restart your mac.
- Open "Network Preferences". On the left tab, look for wifi connection (usually named Wi-Fi).
- Select the wifi connection, and disable that. To disable a connection, choose gear icon below the tab, and choose "Make Service Inactive".
- After disabled, delete the connection. To delete a connection, choose minus (-) icon below the tab, left of gear icon.
- Now that the original connection has been deleted, we must create a new wifi connection. Choose plus (+) icon, select "Wi-Fi" as interface, and you can name it anything as you want, it doesn't matter thought.
- Apply the change. Once again, restart your mac.
- After system reboot, voila ! your wifi should be working properly by now
NOTHING WORKED
Now when I'm trying to go on Network preferences an error message appears saying : Impossible to charged the network preferences
