Tile Mate’s Versatility on a MacBook Pro

Using a Tile Mate

Products' Home Page: Tile Mate

I’m considering using a Tile Mate on my 2018 15” MacBook Pro.

It seems like a little nifty device.

But, with it being placed on my MacBook Pro overtime...

  • How do remove it off my MacBook Pro?

  • Will my AppleCare Plus coverage be terminated?

and...

  • Can my MacBook Pro become inoperable?

Thanks for a quick reply.

I have 2.75 years to wait. I'll stick with Find My Mac, for now.

After my AppleCare Plus coverage expires in 2.75 years... well only then would I attach it to my Mac. I'll just attach it to whatever my Mac is placed in (i.e. a Bag.), I guess.

But I gotta say, if it's sitting right in the same room, and I don't even know it, then maybe it'll pop up. Power to mac Mac is not always on. And with my Mac not connected to the Web, then it seems like it's the only way to find it.
