I have Norton anti-virus, anti-malware software running on my iMac (High Sierra 10.13.6) along with Apple security (Gatekeeper, etc) enabled. 2 questions:

I've never used any 3rd party security software on my Apple devices and have never had any issues. I think you will find that most people here think that Norton and other such products do more harm than good.
