Spinning Wheel of Death on Garageband - HELP!!

I use GarageBand almost every single week for my job. However, about a week ago I started getting the spinning wheel of death every time I try to open it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling MULTIPLE times, and I've tried to do every fix and suggestion I've found, including this one: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209175, and this one: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205927.

Everything is updated, I've got plenty of RAM and storage, and I am at a loss for what to do. On a new project, it seems to happen the moment I try to open the "media" link. I don't know if that helps.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

go to System Preferences, click on Security & Privacy, click the lock to make changes, choose the Privacy menu, scroll to Photos, place a check mark in the box next to [GarageBand]. While in the Privacy menu, be sure to check your other permissions, for Microphone, Contacts, Calendar, Automation, iTunes .app, and Finder to make sure they're checked also. In my case, all were checked, except Photos, which is apparently the one that causes the hang.

Thank you!! I cannot tell you how much frustration this has caused. It was the photos permission. One unchecked box. That's all it was. And I have no idea how it mysteriously became unchecked. Anyway, thank you again!
