Disabling swipe on Magic Mouse with Mac Mail

I just got a Magic Mouse, and can't work out how I can disable the sideways swipe when hovering over a message in the message list view of Mac Mail.

I can't find a preference for this in Mail, nor for the mouse itself.

It's annoying because if I'm going to drag a message to a folder, but accidentally start a swipe, then the click and drag is ignored. Then I have to: unclick, undo the partial swipe, click and drag as initially intended.

If this isn't possible, how do I lobby for such a preference? :-)

Cheers,

Neil

I found this article: http://osxdaily.com/2017/08/17/disable-multitouch-magic-mouse-mac/

But as the last comment says, this doesn't work on Mojave.

But the article mentions BetterTouchTool (from https://folivora.ai/).

You can disable side-swiping specifically for Mac Mail, which is what I wanted. Hooray!
