Camera Button Missing During Group FaceTime

In group FaceTime, the button that turns the camera on/off is missing on my phone but it's there on their phone(s). The screenshot on the top is their phone and the screenshot on the bottom is my phone. Why is the camera button missing? How do I get it visible?

Are you using the latest update? It might not be available on the iPhone 6+

here is an excerpt from this link - Use Group FaceTime on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

To use Group FaceTime video calls, you need an iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro or later, iPad Air 2, or iPad Mini 4 with iOS 12.1.4. Earlier models of iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that support iOS 12.1.4 can join Group FaceTime calls as audio participants.

To recap, you cannot use that feature on your 6+.
