macbook pro fan problem

my macbook pro 2017 is reaching at about 60-65 degree Celsius and I still don't hear any fan voice

how do I know if my fan is working properly or not .

I have tried software like smcFanControl 2.6 but when I am increasing the fan speed manually from that software nothing happens everything keep running as it is

Can someone show me a little direction here it will be great help for me

Sometimes, the MacBook gets really hot, after which it turns on the fan at full speed, making a lot of noise. I downloaded Macs Fan Control software and saw that the fan is off (0 RPM) up until the point where it gets really hot and after which it will blow at full speed (7000 RPM). I now set the value at a constant value of 4000 RPM with the software. But I was wondering, why does Apple not make the fan simply spin all the time at a lower speed. Because this is sort of like all or or nothing behavior (it is either off and then blows full speed to cool the laptop down). Thanks for your responses!

fan of my macbook pro 15 retina 2012 my left fan not work very well. same times make nosey sound and i see the RPM of it , it is shown 400 rpm "it should be 2100" i want to turn it off ? i know it is not good for the mac but it is ok to me i want app or way to make it run at 0 RPM ,, only left one

Is my MacBook Pro fan running? I hear a lot of comments about fan noise, but when I use software like Photoshop and Lightroom on my MacBook Pro (mid 2020 Intel) it gets quite hot, but I don't hear the fan or feel any air flow at the vents. Is there some diagnostic I can run to tell if the fan is working alright?

For Thermal management Try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

You may not hear the fans when the CPU temps are 60-70C. Only when the laptop runs hotter will the fans speed up enough to hear them. If the fan wasn't working I would expect the temperature to be much hotter.
