Hi i forgot my password for macbook pro so i try to reset and i m getting this message ‘ reset password failed there was an error communicating with icloud’ i tried to reset via recovery mode, by pressing command r, but after selecting terminal it doesn’t gave reset password option. internet connection is good. any help would be appreciated

Not finished set up need to reset password macbook pro I recently purchased the newer MacBook pro M2 chip, don't know what info needed to help with a solution for me, but I have always had the worst memory ever. Though I have written it down it didn't work and any variation of the password didn't work and I think I may have typed something wrong thinking I was typing what I had written down. At this point I already know I don't deserve to set eyes on apple products because I'm a serial password forgetter, but if anyone has any advice for me I would so appreciate it. I only partially started setting it up I wasn't able to get apple ID info set up because I was at work it got busy and when I finally got back to it well "access denied". She still has that new car smell still in the box. Anyway thanks for taking the time if there is even a solution for my carelessness.

About recovery with for got password login machine of Macbook pro 13 macOS sierra 12.5.1 Please I'm Hong truong I'm have a 1 macbook pro 13 have a problem with passwords login machine , I'm already reboot for recovery mode , after that I'm run function Macintosh HD nearly done around 399 seconds, it still display show out error ( ⚠️ An error occurred while preparing to install. try running this app again ) but my apple icloud account still keep in this machine, I can use my iPhone check location device with Apple ID of this Macbook Pro 13 David TN machine , i can take send some photo of machine have error ,please can someone can help me fix this to come back normal for I can use for my work , thank you . The serial number of a MacBook Air is printed on the underside, as described here.
