I have lost my AirPods

I have lost my airpods which are in the case, normally they come up on find my iPhone however the one time I have actually lost them they arnt there. Any ideas ?

Lost AirPods Pro I lost my AirPods Pro. They are in the case and the last location they are showing is at my house at a time where I was at work, didn’t have them with me that day, and haven’t had them since I seem to have misplaced them. My worry was that I lost them somewhere else, but does this mean there is more of a chance that they are at my house since the last place they are showing is at my home and is there anyway to find them?
