How can I download imovie on my Late 2013 Macbook Pro (Not using the Mac Store)

I want to download imovie on my Late 2013 Macbook Pro but I can't. I tried through the mac store but the thing is it keeps telling me i need to update to high sierra 10.13.6. The problem is i can't update my macbook for some reason, so I can't download imovie. Is there another way I can get it? I just really wanna be able to edit videos.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.13

Pretty sure your late 2013 MacBook Pro would have shipped with iMovie 10.

Are you sure it is not on your Mac?

If iMovie 10 is not on your Mac sign into the App Store with your Apple ID that was associated with your Mac when you bought it.

Click on the PURCHASED tag at the top.

This will take you to your Purchased page. It lists free apps as well.

You should see iMovie listed.

If iMovie 10 is already on your Mac it will say OPEN.

If it is not on your Mac it will say DOWNLOAD.

Click download and you will get a pop-up saying you need 10.13.6 or later to download the latest version, but would you like to download a compatible version for your current OS.

Click yes.

If this Mac belonged to some-one else when it was bought then this will not work as the Apple ID will be different.

What OS are you currently running?
