Movie to iPad

I thought I could transfer a movie on my MAC to my iPad. It appear to have sync'd but I do not see any app for watching a movie on the iPad nor do I see the movie files I transferred. Any help is appreciated.

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.14

The App you need on the iPad is the TV app, you can find it for free on the App Store on the iPad. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207254

You aren't getting it, in order to watch your movie you need the TV app. I download movies to my iPad all the time and watch them on the TV app.

I do not want to watch Television on my iPad. I just want to watch a movie, downloaded to my MAC, on my iPad. Thank you for the TV information.
