Lost my iPhone and need helpwith find my iPhone

I lost my phone, but on the find my iPhone app, it only shows my computers location even though my phone is signed in to this Apple ID. Online, it shows my phone as connected to my Apple ID, but it doesnt even show up on the app. How do i find my phones location on the app?
