How can I turn off CNN notifications on my Macbook?

I've tried going to the "Notifications" section in System Preferences, but CNN does not appear in the left panel. Nor does New York Times, notifications from which I also want to turn off. Thanks so much.

  • open Safari
  • click on Preferences from the menu bar
  • click on the button Websites
  • on the left side of the panel, click on Notifications
  • at the right side of the panel you can now for each website accept or refuse notifications.

I just found how to disable notifications in Chrome:

  • Open Chrome
  • Look for Settings (top right side: 3 dots next to your profile icon)
  • Click on Settings
  • Scroll down and click on 'Advanced
  • Click on the tab Privacy and security
  • Scroll down until you see Settings for Content
  • Now you can decide for each website to allow or refuse notifications
