FaceTime on MacBook disconnects after a few seconds

I can make a FaceTime call from my MacBook, but it always disconnects after a few seconds. I then use my iPhone or iPad to make the same call and I never have an issues. What is wrong with my MacBook?

I have a 15'' MacBook Pro purchased in 2017. Processor is 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 memory, with Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB. I'm running macOS Mojave Version 10.14.3
