I downloaded my resume through email. When I saved it to my Mac air and open in pages, you can't see the whole resume. But if I open with preview, I can see the resume. I am afraid that companies are not getting my full resume.

If this is a PDF résumé, then you cannot open it in Pages, and if you drop it on a blank Pages document, only the first page is shown. No workaround because Pages is not a PDF viewer.
Preview, being a PDF viewer is the right tool for that purpose. Pages can however, open, translate, and display your résumé if it is a Word document, though that translation may not be accurate depending on the content of the Word document.

Your company recipients can see your whole resumé.
They will use whatever pdf viewer they have, probably the free Acrobat Reader, or their browser.
Pages is a DTP/Word Processor App and treats pdfs as graphics and shows only the top page.
You actually went out of your way to open the resumé with Pages, Preview is your default pdf viewer on a Mac.
Why is it that when I download a resume and open in Pages, it doesn't pull the whole resume, but if I open with preview, I can see the whole resume
