If you forgot it, there’s no way to recover this password.
You have to erase your iPhone and start it as new, because restoring from a backup will also restore this passcode that you cannot remember.
My advice is to enable iCloud Photos and iCloud Sync for other important information like Notes, Contacts, etc., so it could backup to the cloud and download on your phone when you will start it as new.
