How to Create OS X Lion \ OS X Mountain Lion USB Bootable installer

I have tried using the information contained in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372 "How to create a bootable installer for MacOS". It has example command line text for Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, and El Capitan. I've modified those examples to make Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra, and High Sierra bootable USB's so I feel I have a little bit of understanding on how to modify the example command lines. I get error message anytime I try and create a Lion or Mountain Lion bootable installer. I thought my original files might have gotten corrupted so I purchased new copies from the Apple App Store and downloaded and tried them with the same error result. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
