Can't Upload iMovie Project Anywhere

I have an iMovie project, about 3 minutes in length, however, when I try to share the video the circle that shows how much has been uploaded says "1min" and the circle never gets filled in to show how much it's uploaded. My video never uploads, even after over an hour of waiting. I've attempted multiple times to upload to Youtube, as a file on my desktop, and just upload into "Theater" .

I've checked my hard drive and I have well over 100gb of storage so that can't be the problem. I've restarted the iMovie app, then my laptop, and tried changing the resolution of my project with no luck.

Not sure what's going on... hope someone can help...
