Earpiece volume

Just upgraded software and now earpiece volume so low I cant hear anything. Tried everything I can fine on past threads relating to similar issues but nothing works. Phone is fine on car headset and speaker just earpiece. Only thing I’ve not tried is re-setting to an earlier IOS. Any ideas and help appreciated
