Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

2. Comment: on when you came across this issue, and how you have trorubleshsot it, thus far.
3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
4. Proceed from there aw necessary

I’m having the same problem. I had my battery replaced at an Apple Store and they told me that when replacing the battery the earpiece gets ruined so they replace the battery and earpiece. Now the volume is inappropriately low. Don’t know if it’s iOS 15 or the new earpiece. iPhone X
