How to remove hidden software for Printer No longer Used

I keep getting notifications to update a printer that is no longer in service. I have removed all visible indication of this printer but.......I still am getting notices for updating the printer. It has been over three years since removal and now am getting these notifications. Where do I look for hidden software on my MAC desktop.

Thanks, jabab17

Apple > System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > remove (-) that printer from your list of printers.

Finder > Home Folder > Library > Application Support > delete that Printer and empty the trash.

Finder > Home Folder > Library > Preferences > delete that Printer and empty the trash.

Finder > Home Folder > Library > Printers > delete that Printer and empty the trash.
