Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I bought this new macbook pro 13'' two weeks ago. After i updated the macos, the preview sometimes will crashes or gets stuck when opening the preview. One situation is that the preview couldn't open immediately into the full screen but it stuck in the opening process.
I don't know why and i couldn't find the solution. Could someone help me to deal with it? Thanks a lot.

There is no stand alone Preview.app independent of the macOS.
Boot into Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities> Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD. If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

After first Aid is successful, quit the DU and from the drop down—reinstall the macOS on top of your existing macOS to sort this anomaly
