no audio on windows 10 in MacBook pro mid 2012.

Hello!

I face problem with audio on windows 10 where running on MacBook pro mid 2012.

Although ,the previous times after Boot Camp installation, the Realtek and finally the Cirrus Audio drivers installed, the last times, after format and installation of windows 10 again ,I don't have audio and I see an interrogative sign on audio picture on windows bar.

Did you face the same problem?

What did you do to resolve it?

Anyway I have sound. Everything is working properly on an old MacBook Pro 2012 (not retina) with Windows 10 64 bit.

I just had to install Windows with boot camp support software, downloaded from Apple website.

Bootcamp that came with creating a flash drive through the bootcamp program in MacOS did not have proper audio drivers.

I solved this problem by downloading bootcamp manually. I have tried version 5.1

If you use bootcamp downloaded automatically from Mac OS it will not work.

try downloading from here https://support.apple.com/downloads/Boot-Camp-Support

The only problem I had, was ascents of Nvidia drivers, but I have downloaded them from Nvidia later.

try this.

I have a local copy in case you need it.

Do you mean to change UEFI to BIOS?

On a Mac, you have to remove and re-instal Windows.

I followed these steps but after restart the mode is same, UEFI.

It is not expected to change.

Do I have to put safe mode? If yes, how on mac put your MacBook Pro to safe mode ?
On PC press F8 on boot , If I remember well. On MacBook Pro what button or keyboard combination is the correct when boot?

You will need to

Remove Windows from your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support

Install Windows on your older Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support

Do not interrupt the normal installer flow and use Alt/Option to choose EFI Boot. The default mode on your Mac is legacy BIOS.
