Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

MacBook Air will not stay charged

It will not stay charged. Charge shows 87%

But I have to plug it in to start.

If the cord comes out it shuts down

It will not open unless I put the plug in.

The orange light stays on the attachment from the plug into the computer (cord)

1. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.

2 Check System information.

Hold the option key down, click  in the menu bar and choose "System Information".

Click "Power" in the sidebar and look under Battery Information.

What does it say about Condition?
