How to stop EFI partition from mounting

I have latest Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3. Since I have setup timemachine backup (encrypted) on my macbook pro. Every-time any external disk is connected (including backup disk itself), EFI partition (or any other hidden partition) is mounted automatically. Any idea how to stop this behaviour? Simple restart did not help. Thank you.

Maybe I was not clear enough. First of all, I am not trying to delete EFI partition. Second, I am not talking about internal hard drive. And even if I delete EFI partition from EXTERNAL disk, it will not affect my macbook.

Somehow, when any EXTERNAL disk is connected, EFI partition of that EXTERNAL disk is automatically mounted (shows on desktop). I do not want to delete EFI partitions, I want to stop automatic mount of hidden partitions. Any idea? Thanks.
