iPhone 7 Plus Home Button

I recently plugged in my iPhone 7 Plus to charge. After a few minutes I went to check it and the home button was extremely hot and the home button stopped working. I unplugged it and turned it off but it still isn’t working. The home button is now also cracked. Anyone else have this problem and any suggestions?
